Engr. Ernest Usunobun Oyenmwen is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of CitiTap Group, whose flagship division, CitiTap Energy Solutions, is committed to expanding access to clean, reliable and affordable energy solutions across Africa.
He is a graduate of Petroleum Engineering from the University of Benin (UNIBEN) and has undertaken postgraduate business studies through the MBA programme at Nexford University, further strengthening his expertise in business strategy, leadership, and innovation.
Driven by a passion for sustainable development and technology, Ernest is leading CitiTap’s mission to bridge Africa’s energy access gap through innovative clean energy solutions, strategic partnerships, and scalable business models. Under his leadership, the company is focused on delivering renewable energy infrastructure for residential communities, commercial enterprises, institutions, and real estate developments.
